US: Initial Jobless Claims rose to 345K last week

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The number of people filing first-time claims for state unemployment insurance in the US increased to 354.000 in the week ending June 15, following 336.000 registered the previous week. The result is higher than market consensus of 340.000.

Continuing Jobless Claims dropped to 2.951.000 in the week ending June 8 from 2.991.000 registered the previous week. Analysts expected less decrease to 3.700.000.
